How do i kill namir
Six months after the Sarif Industries attack, Namir, Barrett, and Fedorova, along with several Belltower operatives, were in the lower levels of an abandoned bot factory complex in Highland Park , which served as a front for a FEMA internment camp. Here, they met with a newly augmented Adam Jensen, and Jaron ordered Barrett to get rid of him, before slipping away with Fedorova. Though Jensen would defeat Barrett and obtain the location of Windmill from him, Namir would once again escape.
There, Jensen encountered Zhao Yun Ru , who attempted to disable Jensen with her universal killswitch. If Jensen had opted for the free biochip upgrade at Hengsha LIMB clinic , the killswitch will shut off all of Jensen's augmentations, making the upcoming boss fight significantly harder.
Namir would then reveal himself and engage Jensen with the words "You should have stayed dead, Jensen! Before Namir died, Jensen demanded that he reveal Megan's location. Namir told Jensen that he had lost Megan, and that "Men like us We never get back the things we love", possibly referring to his sister. See Namir Tactics for tactical suggestions on how to defeat Namir.
Namir, being a Tyrant, is significantly more augmented than the average person. His most noticable augmentations are a unique set of dermal armor and mechanical limbs designed in tribute to the human musculoskeletal system, with minor changes such as two-toed feet, and a thinner torso section. Namir's head appears to be the only biological part of his person aside from his left eye. It is covered in numerous grooves and bolts reminiscent of electronic implants. These implant points lie along the scar-lines on his face.
It can be assumed that Namir has most, if not all, the augmentations available to the player in the game, as shown by his combat prowess. Deus Ex Wiki Explore. Deus Ex series. Forum Recent blogs Policies and guidelines Simplified ruleset Image policy.

After the first barrage, head to the right of the elevator and get behind cover. Namir should walk straight towards you and past the elevator. If you have a mine, place it in the corner infront of you and wait for Namir to approach. After he's stunned toss a frag, and place five or more rounds into his head. Gas grenade will allow for more shots Right before he becomes unstunned, throw another a frag. He should be defeated. It is worth noting that a very high risk high reward stratergy is to toss a gas mine over to where he Namir will spawn.
When the fight starts get away immedietly and behing a wall nearby. It is likely he will vault over the wall and in doing so allow himself to actually be meeleed. This a good stratergy for anyone who has a template a free gas grenade. Also, try blind firing with the laser rifle from cover. The laser beam can be perfectly controlled and makes the boss a lot easier, especially on the hardest difficulty. Last Edited: 19 Oct pm.
Was this guide helpful? YES NO. Perhaps that's the "exploit" mentioned by Adeese. Just got him now. Put a frag mine in the middle room, and start running in the outer one and don't stop until you hear your mine blowing.
After that I finished him off with a grenade launcher but I guess you could use something else. During my first playthrough I killed Namir after taking the LIMB upgrade, it was a painful experience with all those flashing colours. Anyway, the way that I did this was if you remember before the boss there is a turret out in the court yard, I simply carried this into the lift with me, after reprogramming it to attack enemies.
If you drop it as you walk out of the lift it survives the cut scene and will attack Namir. Namir will also attack it back, but while he's targeting the turret you can get some very well aimed headshots off. I actually also got that new biochip and thus had to fight him with the augmentations being crippled. The way I got him down was using my combat rifle and just use the four corners of the entire room.
You easily see him aproaching, jumping over the wall, you then unload half a clip in him and run away when he tosses the grenades or shoots the plasma weapon at you. And then you simply repeat this. I had no augmentations either, as a result of the chip upgrade, so I ran around the room shooting him with a shotgun until he died. As Adeese mentioned, your augs still have some functionality even with the "upgraded" chip.
They were not available straight away, so I think maybe your cells start empty and recharge very slowly. Anyway after a certain period of time of firing from cover and running away, I was able to use the Typhoon which finished off Namir quite quickly.
I didn't get the chip upgrade but I don't think it would have mattered if I had. This was on Deus Ex difficulty. Sign up to join this community. The best answers are voted up and rise to the top. Just throw some mines nearby to find out where he is and start firing.
