Can you miss blast shards infamous

I just need to know if you can miss one there or anywhere else, cause i didn't think you would be able to miss any. Please help me? You're mostly likely missing one that's far out over the water on a broken pier or on top of a really high building. Same with me, you won't find them, I used a guy and essentially rechecked all the points and still somehow missed them.
