The Danube Cycle Path is a developed bike path that runs along the Danube River for its entire length, from where it starts in Donaueschingen, Germany to where it empties out into the Black Sea 2, kilometers later. The most popular section of the path for people to ride is the km from Passau, Germany to Vienna, Austria, which can take anywhere from 3 to 7 days. While on an active river cruise on the Danube, I spent one morning biking 19 kilometers of the Danube Cycle Path between the towns of Krems and Spitz.

This part of the Cycle Path only took a couple of hours, but it definitely piqued my interest in doing a longer section of it sometime.
